TERMS OF SERVICE

Last Updated: November 2025

Standards of Engagement

01. Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Rebuilt.nz website and services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

02. Services

Rebuilt.nz specializes in high-performance website rebuilds, optimization, and digital architecture. Our core service, "The Rebuild," involves stripping an existing website to its core and rebuilding it using modern frameworks (Next.js) for speed, precision, and impact.

Project timelines are agreed upon in the specific project proposal and vary depending on scope and complexity.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any client for any reason, including but not limited to projects that violate our ethical standards or capacity constraints.

03. Payment & Fees

Payment terms are agreed upon before work commences and are outlined in the project proposal. Payment is due upon completion and before the final transfer of code or deployment to a live environment.

All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless otherwise stated. We accept payment via bank transfer or credit card (subject to processing fees). Late payments may incur interest at a rate of 1.5% per month.

04. Revisions

We include two (2) distinct rounds of revisions with our standard service package. A "round" is defined as a consolidated list of feedback provided by the client.

Requests for revisions must be made within 5 business days of receiving the draft. Changes requested outside of these rounds or that constitute a significant departure from the original agreed-upon scope will be billed at our standard hourly rate.

05. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment of all fees, Rebuilt.nz assigns to the client all right, title, and interest in and to the final website design and code.

Notwithstanding the above, Rebuilt.nz retains the right to:

  • Use the completed project in our portfolio, marketing materials, and case studies.
  • Reuse underlying generic code snippets, libraries, and frameworks (e.g., standard utility functions) in future projects.

The client warrants that they own or have the right to use all content (text, images, logos) provided to us and agrees to indemnify Rebuilt.nz against any copyright infringement claims regarding such content.

06. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rebuilt.nz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the services; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Rebuilt.nz for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
